JERRY WHITTLE

Jerry is a longtime member of the Writers' division. In fact, he was at the 1983 foundation meeting of the NFB Writers' division. Now retired from a thirty year career of teaching Braille, he is happily spending his time getting to writings that up to now, was too busy in life to attend to.

Whittle graduated from Clemson University with a degree in English, and he earned his master’s degree from the University of Tennessee in 1980. He taught English at the University of South Carolina while working on his PhD.
